Hello dear Garden Wonder community and live-music supporters,
I wanted to speak to you directly about the COVID situation, and how it is affecting us. As an independent concert organiser in Hungary, I am painfully awakened to the reality of the lack of support from our government towards music industry, and especially independent venues, and therefore I am in need to turn to the people who have been making these concerts possible all along: our community, and with that: you, the wonderful individuals and our friends.
Since the start of Garden Wonder in 2017, I never once cancelled a concert, and I cannot express to you how sad I am about having had to hit PAUSE on these secret concerts for the past 3 months. This is also a painful loss of money, and therefore I am forced to look for other jobs, which would possibly mean the end of the Garden Wonder concerts as we knew it.
But I would like to tell you this: this fundraiser can SAVE GARDEN WONDER, and essentially our work that has gone into creating, organising, booking, promoting, and hosting these concerts, so that our team would be able to continue to bring live music, international and local artists into secret places in Budapest.
Throughout the summer, we would love to see many of you coming alongside of us, and supporting us in this difficult season.
And to see some of you face-to-face again, we will be celebrating our 3rd-year ANNIVERSARY CONCERT in our family house, outside in the garden, where these concerts began. We hope that this concert will be a spark of love, and through your generosity and support we will be able to continue pouring our hearts and passion into creating Garden Wonder concerts all over Budapest.
