For 20 years, Celtic Music Radio has stayed on air using studio equipment that is now over 40 years old. Every day our volunteers patch, solder, and coax ageing desks back into life—but we’ve reached the end of the road.

Parts are no longer made. Failures are happening daily. This isn’t an upgrade for comfort—it’s a race against complete equipment failure that could take us off air permanently.

We’re raising £10,000 to replace our unserviceable analogue desks with two modern digital studios and to invest in portable Outside Broadcast equipment. This will allow us to broadcast live from festivals, community sessions, and cultural events—bringing Celtic music directly from the heart of the scene to listeners everywhere.
