Merchant Oyster Co. is looking for support during these hard times to help keep this community restaurant alive.  Merchant is a Northeast-style oyster bar and chowder house that brings a beachfront feel to a city community.  They are home to a monthly competition called "Shuck and Suck" that includes live music, discounted beers and oysters, followed by a competition where four teams of two partner to see who can eat the most oysters in two minutes.
