Like many bars and restaurants in Maryland , we are going through a very difficult time. It’s been a rough 2020 and due to the pandemic, The Rail is on the verge of having to close indefinitely.
Starting Wednesday, December 16th our situation will worsen because of the new restrictions. We are not as fortunate as some of our neighboring local bars with extra outdoor space to accommodate outside seating.
We hope you’ve cherished the sense of community that The Rail has built — the wild nights, the connections, the celebrations of joy, shared grief, tailgates, karaoke and much more. Over a short amount of time we have simply become one the best entertainment spots in College Park.
The money raised will cover out expenses while the bar is required to be closed, and to help us get through a 2021 in absence of Federal, State & Local Funding.
Anything you can give will be much appreciated. We hope to keep providing you a quality experience in 2021. Thank you in advance, The RAIL!
