Save the Penge Heritage Trail website

The Penge Heritage Trail website has been a success story from its launch in 2018.  The site celebrates the fascinating history and heritage stories of Penge, South London, and was greatly supported by the Penge community which contributed to its initial costs.

More than 20,000  viewings have been made of its website. The co-ordinator was invited to present a talk on 'Setting up the Penge Heritage Trail' at a seminar conducted by Kellogg College, Oxford University.  He also appeared on the BBC1 programme 'Murder, Mystery and My Family' after the director had read  the 'Victorian Murder Mystery' item on the site. Penge has benefitted from a celebration of  its rich and varied history.

Funds are needed to secure  the website over the coming years.  Several community events to raise money for this were planned but, owing to Covid 19 restrictions,  these are no longer possible.

Donations to this GoFundMe  page  will help to provide enough funds to cover ongoing maintenance, development, hosting and domain fees  over the coming years. There is a target sum of £5000.

If you like and appreciate the website, please donate what you can.  Any donation large or small will be greatly valued . Thank you.
