Save The Muse

The Muse in downtown Graham is one of the most amazing spots in the town.  The Muse is a special place where all are welcome, no matter color, age, sex, gender identity, sexual preference, The Muse is there for all and is a safe place for all.  This place had become a staple in our community, a community that has been known for decades for its close-mindedness and oppression of our black community.   

The other thing that makes it special is its owner, Dionne.   I have never seen a more kind, loving, caring, happy, and open person in my whole life.  Covid19 has hit everyone hard, especially our small business owners.  Soon after The Muse first opened its doors, Dionne had to close due to COVID.  This unforeseen pandemic has caused the owner to do all she can to provide rent for the space while closed; although this wasn't able to be made in full every month.





If she doesn't come up with the money, she will be pushed out. 

The Muse has been Dionne's dream, her dream that she has worked so hard and intensely on for years, and finally when she took a leap, her landlord is telling her no.

Let's SAY YES TO THE MUSE

Graham, NC needs The Muse, and Graham, NC needs Dionne.  I am reaching out to everyone and asking for your help in keeping The Muse in Graham so it can not just survive, but thrive.
