Land payoff and reconstruction
Donation protected
The Matt King house is the oldest known home in the Lincoln valley, and as such is a very important part of Lincoln's history. It was set to be sold for salvage or sold to move out of the valley. Some of the logs are 2 feet wide, all hand hewn. It's a beautiful building. The loan is PAID OFF!!! We are in the process of securing the land this building and the other 7 buildings the Upper Blackfoot Valley Historical Society has for them all to go on. We've made and offer and it has been accepted, now we need the funding. It will be a museum, a centerpiece, a place to gather, relax, reflect. We need a down payment of $20,000.00. Once we get that, then we will go on to raise funds for paying off the property, but most importantly, getting the Matt King back up. It isn't doing any good sitting and waiting. Then onto moving and working on the other buildings. All of the buildings need some TLC. It is important for all of us, young and old, to remember our roots and the grit and integrity the people of displayed. DOWN PAYMENT OF $20,000.00 FOR LAND IN TOWN!
