Matthew Jackson (Matt) 07.12.1981 - 07.12.2020.
Matt is my Brother in-law and was Married to my sister Selina Jackson. In 2017 when on a family holiday with his wife and two children Mya and Logan, Matt had a injury to his testicle and once home Matt went to the hospital to have this checked. Matt was told that he has a dead testicle and that this needed to be removed with surgery. In December 2018 Matt had his surgery to remove his testicle. After this Matt suffered for just over two and half years with swelling and infections. Matt started to gain weight and had a massive haematoma in his stomach. Matt was a big family man, he met my sister Selina in 2002 and they quickly fell in love with each other and in 2003 they welcomed their Daughter Mya into the world, Matt was totally in love. In 2007 Matt and Selina tied the knot and got married. In 2008 they welcomed their second child Logan into the world, Matt adored his wife and children and would do anything for them he worked very long hours to make sure that he provided for his family. But since Matt become poorly and wasn't able to work since 2018, My sister became his carer and had to help him a lot Matt was loved by everyone who met him, with his dark curly hair and great smile he could light a room up by just walking in!!
On December 7th 2020 it was Matt's 39th Birthday and this was a time when he should of been opening his cards and celebrating with his family, but instead Matt didn't feel to well and when he went to stand up he fell over and wasn't able to get up. A ambulance was called and they said that Matt's blood pressure was very high and that they was going to take him to A&E to get checked out. Unfortunately not even one hour after Matt left his family home my sister got a call that no one was expecting. The call that was said Matt's family needed to get to the hospital as Matt wasn't going to make it. As a family we all went to the hospital but Matthew had passed away on his 39th Birthday unexpectedly, leaving behind his wife and two children Mya 17 and Logan 12.
As you can imagine this was a very upsetting time for his family and loved ones who didn't get to say goodbye or tell him that they loved him.
Although Selina and Matt was Married, Selina wasn't on the mortgage and therefore will have to apply to take the house over in her name to be able to keep the family home. Which Selina has been told due to only working part time that she would not be able to get the mortgage and that the house would be taken off her if she isn't able to find the £70.000 to pay off the rest of the mortgage. This has been their family home for nearly 18 years and I can not sit and do nothing without trying to to help my sister and children keep their one and only family home where they hold so many memories of Matt, the memories of my sister and her husband, the memories of the children and their dad that they love so much. Please help me by donating anything that you can every pound and penny will help. I'm not asking but I am begging that we try and keep my sister's house theirs that they love so much. Please share far and wide as a family we really do appreciate this.
