Greetings from The Citrus Guy, a.k.a Darren Sheriff. As you may or may not know, I have helped hundreds, if not thousands of people with their citrus, gardens, and many other horticultural problems. I do not usually charge anything for my services unless I need to travel a decent distance. I do it as a help to the community. Now, I am in need of some help. I honestly HATE asking for help, it is NOT my style, but desperate times require desperate measures.

Back on July 7th, my wife went in for a complete and total hysterectomy. While in there, they found a cyst the size of a grapefruit and it was stage 3 Uterine Sarcoma Cancer, as well as Ovarian Cancer. So, needless to say, they had to do the operation via large incisions as opposed to the robotic operation. There were complications after the procedure and she ended up spending 10 days in the hospital. I will spare you the details, but it almost killed me when they had to insert a tube through her nose into her stomach to keep her from vomiting bile.

After she got out of the hospital, one of the incisions decided not to heal correctly. They opened it back up and attached a wound vac to it (I call it Kirby) to help with the healing process. After almost 2 months of that, it still was not healing correctly. So, they went in again, reopened it up again and she still has the machine to this day, October 16th.

They were trying to wait until all of this healed before starting radiation treatment, which was supposed to start 2 weeks or so after the initial operation. Due to all of the complications, they JUST started the radiation on October 5th. She is having that 5 days a week for the next 5-6 weeks. Hopefully, it has not been too long for the start of the radiation and cancer has not reared its ugly head.

Of course, she has been out of work this whole time. She "theoretically' would have gone back to work 6 weeks after the July 7th operation. As it stands right now, she may not end up going back until sometime in December, maybe.

Had it all gone as planned, I would not be in this situation, Tammy, my wife, does not even know how dire our financial problems are, I really don't want to burden her with this so she can concentrate on healing.
A couple of days ago, our landlord sent an eviction letter. I explained the situation to him, his hands are tied. We have lived there for some 20+ years. Not only do I not have the time, nor the finances to move, my wife would not be able to help, which would drive her crazy.

I am desperate! Once she gets back to work, things will be fine again, but we just can't move or be evicted.
Like I said at the beginning, I am SO NOT into asking for help, but in this case, I have no choice.
IF I have helped you in the past, you are very welcome and I honestly DO NOT want you to feel obligated to help me! I can and will help anybody that has a question about anything horticulture, and will do so until it is no longer possible.
So please, if you can help at all, I will be eternally grateful. If you can not, please do not feel bad, I completely understand and will never hold a grudge. I enjoy helping others with their horticulture problems, I just wish I was not in this position to be needing help myself.
