Save the Bug Jar

The Bug Jar  has been a staple to the independent music scene of Rochester, New York since 1991.  During that time the venue has hosted the likes of The Black Keys, Arcade Fire, 1975, Mac DeMarco, Kevin Devine, Lizzo, Neutral Milk Hotel, Vampire Weekend, Caspian, Pinegrove, The Ataris, PILE, PUP, The Menzingers, MC LARS, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Touche Amore, Cherry Glazerr,  The Appleseed Cast,  Dead Meadow, All Them Witches, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, FUZZ, Ron Gallo, Now Now, El Ten Eleven and many MANY more!

The purpose of this fundraiser is to help preserve a historic venue during these hard times.  Due to the covid-19 restrictions, the venue was  unable to open and host live music from March 2020 - June 2021. 

Funds raised from this campaign will go towards Rent and Utilities which we have not been able to keep up with since the shutdown.
