Save the Blair Family's Home

Hi! My name is Delfia Herweyer and I created this GoFundMe to help save my friend, Eric Blair, and his three children's home.


I first met Eric on the playground at the school both of our daughters attend. Our girls are in the same preschool class and are good friends, so we've gotten to know their family. Shortly after I met him, Eric told me that the children's Mother had suffered from mental illness and tragically took her took her own life in October 2016, leaving him a single father of three. Then while trying to cope himself and be there for his children while they were coping, he lost his job. In the past year he's been able to make ends meet by spending his savings and by working temporary jobs but hadn't been able to find anything permanent due to the fact he could only work during school hours. He tried his hardest to do everything on his own but inevitably he fell behind on his mortgage and last week he received a notice that he has until 3/28/2018 to pay $4800 or they lose their home. He finally found a job this past week, but unfortunately it will not be enough to save the house from being forclosed.


Eric is a great dad and has three amazing kids, Kelsie(5), Scott (11), and Thomas(13). Despite everything they have endured there is so much strength and love in this family. If anyone deserves your help it is them. So I ask you to look into your heart and consider donating to this family and to help them keep the home in which they've shared so many memories together.
