The BADILA Family Home is Sinking Fast

On Christmas eve of 2005 we woke up to our entire roof on fire due to electrical issues, leaving unscalable damages and a family of 9 without a home.
Thanks to our local fire department the fire was put out but left nearly our entire roof gone with tons of water and snow flooding the home for months causing damages far greater than the fire itself. We had a basic insurance policy and it took time to find the means to begin remodeling the roof but we still did not want to loose our home by any means.
Fast forward to 2015 we noticed how greatly imbalanced the ceilings and floors were in the home so a contractor assessed the house and told us it was built on clay and in due time it will likely cave into itself if it isn't properly lifted and the base completely remodeled.
Every year since we noticed more and more leaning, un balanced ceilings, floors, & entry ways leading to Giant cracks in the home showing evident signs that it is indeed caving into itself.
Recently we've had another assessment where we're told if we don't act fast the house will definitely Sink and will potentially need to be destroyed because of how much damage the water has caused through the years.
The good news is there is still enough time and we found an equip team to do the installing immediately but we need financial support to pay these contractors to get the job done.
If you aren't familiar with the Badila family we are known in this beautiful city of Hudson NY for our community based organizations and youth focus programs including theatrical plays, craft making, farming, and education. My Husband, Elombe Badila who passed in 2012 was also a community patriarch known for his generous offerings of art and renown teachings of African Heritage.
Today, four of our 10 children are still residents in our home and we believe with your support we can keep beautiful home for the years to come.
