As many of you know, my mother, Jeanne Ann Macbeth, passed away suddenly on March 7th. Mom loved animals and when I adopted my first rescue, Marley, she fell in love with the idea of animal adoption. In her final wishes, she asked that donations be made to the Frontier Animal Society of Orleans County in lieu of flowers.
· Approximately 6.5 million companion animals enter U.S. animal shelters nationwide every year.
· Each year, approximately 1.5 million shelter animals are euthanized (670,000 dogs and 860,000 cats).
It truly is an epidemic as well as a cause that was close to her heart. Any amount you can donate will help.
