Save the Animals at Jungla De Panama
Donation protected
In Chiriqui, Panama Dorothy Howes runs a small animal sanctuary for rescued animals in need called Jungla De Panama. Her facility is unique in that it rescues all different types of animals. She cares for monkeys, dogs, goats, raccoons, kinkajous, cats, rabbits, parrots, snakes and even a mini blind horse. Dorothy has been supporting these animals for years by receiving volunteers and offering tourists rooms to stay in during their travel through Chiriqui. She also serves food at her own little restaurant on the center grounds. People can eat, stay and learn about the animals. Along with that, Dorothy also relies on donations. Dorothy has adequately maintained her center for years, however due to the recent worldwide pandemic she has found herself in a dark place of desperation and despair, with no visitors, no tourists, no wanderers to serve a hot meal to and no volunteers her animals have literally been going hungry. She has so many to care for and no way to do it. Some of her animals need to be seen by a vet immediately, but the vet bill alone costs $200, that's not to mention the money she needs on a daily basis for their food and daily care. If you know me, you know I support wildlife rescue centers all across Latin America, but most a decent following. I am observing all of them on a daily basis, and all are doing better than Jungla De Panama. Dorothy is in an extremely desperate situation and she has no where to turn. I ask you to please share her story, share this link and PLEASE consider donating to her center. Her animals need you now, more than ever.
