Save Terry's Leg
Donation protected
Terry Tenzing is a dear friend, devoted mother, and amazing human being that has touched many lives with her care, compassion, and joy of life. Right now, she is fighting a staph infection that could cost Terry her leg.
In the Summer of 2015, Terry sustained several fractures in her knee and underwent surgery. Months later she discovered an infection caused by the metal plate that had been inserted in her knee. She spent ten days at the hospital on IV antibiotics and then the plate was removed surgically in July 2016. As of mid December, Terry has been on strong antibiotics for the past 6 months, however her infection is getting worse. Terry’s only hope now is an even stronger cocktail of antibiotics, both oral and IV, and possibly future surgeries. This long treatment is very costly and her insurance only covers part of it.
Terry’s struggle of 10 years with lyme disease has taken all her savings and now her leg injury is impairing her ability to work. She needs some financial support to save her leg and get her health back so that she can continue to support herself and her daughter.
Not only has Terry helped countless people as a mentor and role model, but she has helped people get back on their feet, find a new job, an affordable home, raise funds for medical needs, or offered them a place to be in nature with loving animals while they recover from addictions and gang-related violence. Her pony/animal camps and school programs for younger children have such positive impact. She has rescued countless abused animals from slaughter and given them a loving home on her small farm in Half Moon Bay, California. Both Terry and her animals are a beautiful gift to everyone fortunate enough to meet them.
Please help support Terry Tenzing's recovery by donating to and sharing Terry’s cause. It very well could save not only her leg, but potentially her life.
The funds collected will go towards medical and pharmaceutical bills, future procedures, and rehabilitation related to her knee staph infection.
With deepest gratitude and love,
Terry Tenzing’s family and friends
