Save Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre

Open the door to Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre and walk forward into the past. From the moment you enter the lobby, the smell of popcorn fills the air and you forgot the realities of the present. You’re instantly transported back to a simpler time. When the curtain opens, you’re entranced for two hours of pure nostalgic nonsense. The show is often described as an evening of mirth, myth and merriment. The cast may begin as strangers but not for long. You’ll fall in love with each of them. However, this Victorian theater may close the doors soon. But you can help save the laughter.

Nearly 45 years ago Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre was the brainchild of Pat and Don McPherson. This venture in Gatlinburg, TN was loved into existence. For hundreds of thousands of visitors, Sweet Fanny Adams has continually brought love and laughter to a world so desperately in need.

The MacPherson’s beloved theater is one of the most unique professional theater companies in the US. The show has been named a “historic treasure.”

When Don passed and Pat retired from the stage, the torch was handed down to their children, Jennifer and Chris. They have been on stage since they were able to sing and dance. Chris has had big shoes to fill following in his father’s foot steps. He has kept his parents dream alive for years. He is Chris "Mc- Fearless-son." Sadly, the operating and marketing expenses are now to much during this crisis.

I'm asking for your help. My name is Terry Evanswood. I have been performing my magic show in Pigeon Forge, TN for the past 24 years. I LOVE Sweet Fannie Adams Theatre and the cast. Every night, they have asked their audiences for help. NOT to help the theater, but for a cause they believe in. With 100% of money donated, they have been able to spay and neuter nearly 1000 dogs and cats whose owners have been unable to pay. I know the heart of these performers and they are not going to ask for help themselves.

So, I will.  Please help SAVE Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre. This money will go directly to help with operating expenses so the theatre may remain open for it’s 44th and 45th seasons. I can't stand the thought of watching the curtain fall for the last time on this true labor of love. After my 24 years blessed to know this family, I can tell you this, “I DO magic, but Sweet Fannie Adams Theatre IS magic. Thank you in advance for your help to prevent this treasure from vanishing into history.
