Save SURFACE Miami Arts Festival
DUE TO GOVERNMENT COVID LOCKDOWNS
This year to celebrate the 10 years of Miami Marketta we had decided to give back to the arts industry on the Gold Coast by creating a 10 day music and art festival. It was to span the entire suburb of Miami and the Gold Coast. It was going to be EPIC!
But new covid restrictions and now a snap lockdown announce by our government 4 days out from launch the festival is severely impacted.
The monies that we were to generate from our live music component was to pay the artist.
No live music....... No money...... No Art
We lost our gigs Spacey Jane, Ziggy Alberts, Confidence And and Genesis Owusu all amazing touring artists....
We need your help to keep the art component alive, what your pledge would pay for
- Artists fees (40 artists)
- Paint (1001 litres )
- Scissor lifts ( x 5)
- Scaffold (x 4 sets)
- Spray guns
- Spray Cans
- Printing for fence line exhibiton (40 panels)
- Star pickets
- Cleaning equipment
- Marketing and Promotion
- Safety equipment
- Happiness
