<div>Our club, founded in 1871, is one of the oldest in the world — and a vital part of our community in Thornton Heath.

<div>Without immediate help, our club is at risk of closing.

<div>We serve an area not traditionally known for rugby, yet we provide:

<div>•	Free holiday rugby camps for hundreds of children
</div>
<div>•	Pitches for local schools at reduced rates
</div>
<div>•	A thriving Minis &amp; Juniors section (age 5–18)
</div>
<div>•	Two senior men’s teams
</div>
<div>•	A pathway that has produced players for club and country
</div>

<div>Next season we have plans in place to relaunch our women’s and girls’ section.
</div>

<div>However, rising costs - utilities, coaching, maintenance, insurance; plus unavoidable major expenses (including repairs and a new power supply for our electric gates) have pushed us to the brink.
</div>

<div>We have long term plans to redevelop part of our grounds, including renovating our former squash courts and increasing community events. But right now, we need a short term lifeline.
</div>
<div>We must raise much needed fund to survive.
</div>
