HELP SAVE STILLWATERS

Tameside Canal Boat Trust are a Disability & Wellbeing Community waterways Charity, and we require your help. 

Dedicated Volunteers,  provide specialised Boat Trips, for groups with physical Disabilities or those suffering Mental ill Health, Disadvantaged, Vulnerable or Socially Isolated, incuding Veteran's, on a specially adapted 51 seat narrowboat (StillWaters).
We also operate educational Boat Trips for schools who use our knowledge of the waterways, for the children's learning topic, as part of the curriculum. 

Our Boat Trips are crucial to the needs of the groups that we support, a piece of heritage to be around to be enjoyed by all. 

But over 20 years of dedication to the community could soon come to an end.
As due to the Covid Pandemic we have been unable to generate income, leaving passionate volunteers, heartbroken
 
We operate on Water & not land, so we have not been elegable to receive any of the government restrictions grants, but still have our Mandatory Waterways licences, Moorings & Insurances to pay.
