Save St. Sylvester Gym

St Sylvester Parish is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization located in the Logan Square neighborhood and has been operational since 1884. We are dedicated to ensuring a high level of education for our school children regardless of religious affiliation. Our hearts and doors are always open.


. Our students and those of other community organizations participate in varsity and junior varsity basketball as well as soccer, volleyball, softball and various intramural activities.


Unfortunately, our gym is in serious need of renovation from leaks in the roof which has caused the floor to warp. I have attached some recent photos showing just how bad it is. Fixing the roof and gym floor is a major cost of for our parish and we are soliciting funds from a variety of sources.

What we need: 
1. A New Roof ( Our current roof leaks when it rains)
2. New Gym Floor ( Our current gym floor is very unsafe and has water damage, cracks, and holes)
3. A Paint Job
4.  Safety padding on walls
