Wandering alone along the beachfront of Kuta, fragile and abandoned, he was in desperate need of help. He has been named Sprout — because despite everything, he is showing his will to grow and survive. When Sprout was first picked up, it was as if he had never been shown love before. The moment he felt human touch, his eyes lit up and he gently snuggled in — like he had just realised he might survive after all. A local told us that Sprout had likely been dumped because of his medical issues. As heartbreaking as this is, it makes his fight for life even more important. ⸻ Sprout’s Battle Sprout tested positive for parvo, a deadly virus for dogs, and he is also battling a painful skin disease. This has been a huge challenge for him — but the fight isn’t over yet. Right now, Sprout is still in veterinary care, receiving daily medication, fluids, and treatment to help him recover. The best part is that he’s improving day by day and starting to show his personality. We’ve bought him a squeaky dog bone and a comfy bed, and we visit him every day — each time we see him, he’s just that little bit brighter.
