Save Michelle's fur baby!

Our friend Michelle has a kitty (Spike), who means the world to her. Spike may have a grumpy face, but he has the sweetest soul. He has a big heart... he loves everybody and everybody loves him!

Michelle invited all of us to her apartment for a Halloween party to celebrate into her birthday. To surprise her, some of us went onto the balcony to light a candle on a cupcake. When we came inside, none of us realized the balcony door didn't close all the way behind us. While we were singing "Happy birthday" Spike escaped onto the balcony. No one saw it happen, but he managed to get over the railing and fell 7 stories. It did not take long to realize that he was missing and we found him in the courtyard below... unconscious but still alive. It was a kitty miracle! We brought him immediately to the emergency vet, where he is still on life support.

We don't know how long Spike will be on life support (which is very expensive), but we do know that Michelle needs help to pay for his treatment. 

We hope to raise enough money to cover his vet bills. Everything extra will be donated to the local animal shelter.
