Hi, my name is Fern and I’m fundraising for vet fees to save Solaire!

Solaire or ‘Solly’ was an adopted 2020 lockdown kitty after losing my precious pup of 9 years, ‘Vella’ to a sudden motor vehicle hit and run. Anyone who knows me, knows my pet companions are my world. They act as service animals to me. I have lived with suicidal ideation since childhood, and whenever I have a tough time seeing the future, they are what pull me out of the deep.

Making ends meet at the moment is difficult and I don’t earn enough to have accumulated any savings, and so I live pay check to pay check.

Solly became sick the first week of August 2025, and as of the 7th I have already spent my whole pay check for the 3 weeks on his hospital bills.
