I come to you with a heavy heart to share a deeply upsetting situation that my wonderful neighbors are currently facing. It’s truly heartbreaking to witness what they are going through.

Recently, it was discovered that the home Sheri bought five years ago was never legally sold to her. The seller completely mishandled the paperwork (on purpose), pocketing the money and has never payed the taxes even though they were giving him the funds to do so. To make matters worse, he sold the house again without informing Sheri, and now she is facing eviction from a place she and her husband have poured their entire savings into. Its absolute fraud and so scary. After five years of building a life there, this is a devastating blow for them.

We have gathered a lot of paperwork and proof of the situation, but finding a good attorney to help navigate this complex issue is proving to be a significant challenge, especially financially. If anyone feels moved to contribute, even the smallest donation would mean the world to them—and to me as their neighbor who cares so deeply for this kind family.

Additionally, if you know of any attorneys who might be able to assist them at a lower cost, that would be incredibly helpful.

This whole ordeal feels like an unimaginable nightmare, and it’s heartbreaking to see them go through such horrible fraud. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can offer.
