Hello, my name is Kaili. I'm asking for your help with raising funds for my best friend/PTSD Service Dog, Scooby Doo. Scooby Doo came to me as a puppy, at just 3 months old. Scooby and I have done a lot of training and he was gotten due to my eldest daughters passing back in 2020. He has been trained in learning how to take me out of a panic /anxiety attack with deep pressure therapy, he has helped with my social anxiety in public as I barrackaded myself in my bathroom on the 2nd story and didn't go anywhere and couldn't bring myself to work due to being petrified my other child was going to pass, and the flash backs at that point were to unbearable. Scooby makes my day to day life easier. When I got him it was knowing I had a sense of responsibility, yes I had other children to care for but waking up every day and carrying on with every day tasks became too much for my mind and body to cope with, after all of the complex trauma I had dealt with up unto that point. Scooby has brought so much light into mine and my childrens lives, he truly has been what pulled me out of a very dark place when nothing else seemed logical, he has made it logical. Scooby used to go to work with me, outings, stores, familys homes etc. recently I had my vehicle stolen resulting in me not being able to commute back and forth to work making it difficult to come up with the funds to take Scooby into a vet. in the last few months he has began attacking a family member who he loves very dearly, at first we thought it was because the baby had moved back home, than we thought it was only when we fought, now its became a bit too frequent to know what the true reason is anymore. He has a lump on his side which has grown. I'm looking for your help in helping me receive the funds it will take to get Scooby into a veterinarian to make sure this isn't a tumor and find out just what has made him take a turn. this will cover cost of vet bills, euthanasia/cremation, or any procedures as well as any medications and gas to get him to and from the vets. my family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts as he is a MAJOR part of our family. My soul reason for everything I've done in the last 3 years. due to him attacking he is not currently able to be my service dog and I feel I have failed him. I'm looking to save him, from any pain he may be experiencing as well as any pain he may inflict on anyone else.
Sincerely the Sprague Family.
