Save Rudy. Surgery and cancer treatment

We have unfortunately discovered that our sweet Rudy has an aggressive spreading cancer in his right leg, osteosarcoma. Our option was to amputate his leg and have him partake in chemotherapy. However , we have discovered an alternate option...a phase III trial study that is currently taking place. Rudy is an excellent candidate and we would like to partake in this. It does require some surgical expenses (for his amputation) that are not covered and ask for your help please.
This plea is twofold. For the sake of Rudy and for the sake of a new treatment for bone cancer not only in animals but also for humans.
The trial study is an immunotherapy treatment that may permit the dog's immune system to attack its own cancer cells. The ELIAS cancer immunotherapy (ECI®) is an adoptive T cell therapy that has demonstrated effectiveness in clinical trials in both canines and humans while avoiding or minimizing the need for chemotherapy or radiation treatment.
We love Rudy and so does everyone who meets him. He is a great friend and exercise partner to our older dog Matilda. We are hoping to extend our dogs life. Please help with what you can for medical bills including x-rays, medication, surgery, anything other medical expenses that may be required.
