Richard is a married man with a wife and two minor children.

On 27 October 2023, Richard was diagnosed at a healthcare facility in Accra with a condition called meningioma, which indicated that he had a tumor on his brain.

Due to the critical nature of his condition, Richard underwent a bloodless surgery at the “Sakara World Hospital” in India on 16th January 2024.

Prior to the surgery, Richard was able to fend for some portion of the cost involved due to the generosity of good philanthropists like you on this platform.

After a year of his successful surgery, Richard needs to go for medical reviews and to monitor the brain for absolute recovery.

In this endeavor, one of the latest MRI scans done on the 7th of January 2025 revealed a “Residual Tumor” of a size of 4.7 x 1.3 cm remains in his brain.

As an urgent request, his doctors in India have requested for an immediate treatment to be done to remove the new tumor found. If treated early, a “Radiation Therapy treatment” will be enough to eliminate this tumor.

An estimated cost of $20,000, including his air ticket, is needed urgently to save Richard, who has been a loving father and husband to his children and wife.

With the initial cost of the first surgery and the cost from the aftermath, Richard and his family cannot afford this treatment on their own.

Hence, Richard needs your urgent support in raising the necessary funds for this needed surgery, to prolong his life.

Meningiomas are treatable. As Richard’s friend, I have decided to help raise funds to enable my friend, a father of 2 minor children, to undergo this second treatment to remove the regrowing tumor left in his brain.

Your support is greatly and urgently needed as if this is done earlier (End of March, 2025 as stated by the doctors), the treatment can be done non-invasively without any surgery.
