Currently trying to raise money for veterinary care for my family dog Rambo.
Last Thursday, he started to have one episode of vomiting per day, stopped eating, and also has not gone poop. I took him to the walk-in Shelton VCA over the weekend. He was administered fluids and an anti-nausea shot, and we were told we could monitor or opt for x-rays and blood work that were totaling over $2000. Currently, we just don’t have that extra money. However, I was able to get him an appointment at Prospect Veterinary Hospital for this next upcoming Monday, and an estimate of the costs for x-ray, bloodwork, exam fee, and consult fee to get the x-rays read is totaling around $1000, give or take. They also said I could call on a daily basis to try to find an open appointment to get him seen sooner.
I know everybody’s struggling right now, so I hate to even do the GoFundMe, but anything will help. He's my baby, part of the family, and I have 3 kids that would be devastated if he passed away.
We've been praying for him every day and hoping for a turnaround. He is currently still drinking water, and we still walk around the neighborhood, but besides that, he's sleeping for the majority of the day.
If a miracle happens and he turns around, any proceeds will go to setting up an established primary vet with Prospect Veterinary Hospital, and anything left over will go to Rambo living his best life. Thanks in advance - Me, Rambo & my kiddos
Sadley I had to come back and edit this post to say if my baby doesn’t make it, the proceeds will go to putting him down and possibly cremation. .
