Save Puppy Murphy from Parvo

I bought a puppy off of a online seller who claimed he was healthy and happy. I picked him up May 29, 2017 and within a day he began showing symptoms of Parvo virus. I do not blame this seller for not knowing as symptoms may not have shown up previously but I do hold them responsible for not showing any signs of remorse or concern for this disease. I have asked for my money back and for some cost to cover medical bills and they have been ignored. To make matters worse is he came from a litter of 7 so there are 6 other puppies out there that may also be infected with this.

For those of you that don't know what parvovirus is it is a were powerful and fast spreading disease that has no cure. Infected dogs and puppies can die from usually dehydration within 48 to 72 hours of first showing symptoms. This disease results in them needing to be isolated for a month or more after treatment and and surfaces, clothing, etc that has ever been touch needs to be bleached several times to kill it. Outside the disease can last in the soil for up to 10 years as when winter hits it preserves the disease.

Symptoms of it include lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, and fever. I watched my puppy experience all of these. In 30 degree whether when your puppy will barley even take a drink or move is so extremely painful to experience especially as a new dog owner.

The cost of hospitalization and treatment for Parvo averages about $1000/day with average turnaround to be 5-7 days. As you can imagine when you buy a puppy this is the last thing you expect only 2 days after owning him. I am a university student who now instead of working just to feed and give my puppy a wonderful life now has to take on a second job to pay for these very expensive and unforeseen medical bills with no help at all from the sellers of these infected pups.

Anything we raise above and beyond we will be donating to the Calgary Humane Society to help them recover some lost items from their outbreak a month ago.

I don't know if I will be able to raise this money but the way I see it anything will help. I have never used go find me before but the mounting bills have me turning to the kindness of strangers for help.
