Save Pru from destruction order
Pru our 8 year old rescue shepherd has been sentenced to be destroyed because she bit the postman ( no serious injury no stitches!) by callous magistrates at Boston magistrates court on the 11th of December 2019. We have 21 days in which to lodge an appeal but this costs an upfront fee of £1000 + vat. Which we are struggling to fund at this moment in time. We have been in touch with www.germanshepherdrescue.co.uk who have advised us to start this page. The total cost for this appeal is likely to be £3000 +.
Pru is a very loving dog whom we rescued 19 months ago. She, we believe was used as a puppy machine. To end her life now would be barbaric when all said and done she was just doing her job guarding her property as German Shepards are known for. she is neither aggressive or dangerous as the prosecution would have the court believe. I sadly and naively went to court believing as the duty solicitor told me during my 5 minute consultation before theappearance that I would receive a conditional discharge. And the policeman who interviewed me that they prosecute the owner not the dog!! So please help me Save Pru ... thank you in advance.
