Save Pepper from FIP !

Hello,

We need your help saving our sweet rescued Pepper. He is a male cat that needs us to save his life.

We are two friends dedicated to rescuing cats. Pepper is fighting Neurological

FIP ( Feline Infectious Peritonitis). FIP is a severe progressive disease and without treatment is a death sentence.

Currently, treatment is very expensive and requires full 84 days of daily injections and afterward cats have an observation period of 84 days to be considered cured. The medication needed is called GS441524

Vials of the medication are expensive and depending on the cat's weight one may only get us enough for one day, currently, we need 90 vials. Each averaging around $100 (prices vary $80-$125 depending on the drug manufacture and availability) we also need support to cover vet bills for treatment and housing (as they are currently not in enough good health to be fostered until they finish treatment), Our vet is working with us to bring their costs down but we also need special food to support their organs while in treatment and observation.

FIP comes in a "dry" form and a "wet" form. Infected cats can have symptoms of only one form or a combination of both.

Dry form also referred to as NEURO FIP. The dry form of FIP causes infection and inflammatory lesions around the blood vessels in a cat’s body. This infection can affect the brain, liver, kidneys, lungs, and skin. This form often causes the cat to have seizures and move in an abnormal or uncoordinated way. In some cases, cats will also have excessive thirst and urination, vomiting, weight loss, and jaundice which is what Pepper is suffering from,
