(Save Our Mum) Carmel Lucchini
Donation protected
Carmel Lucchini, loving wife, mother of three daughters and one granddaughter, last year was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. After having an operation to remove the infected area, our mother and family were told that our Nonna (grandmother) was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and was given a month to live. Our mother did everything in her power to help as much as possible, however, late christmas night our Nonna, Elizabeth, sadly passed away. Only a few months after this traumatic event, our mother was rushed to emergency. She had a severe build up of fluid in her lung cavity. The doctors drained the fluid, however a few days later the fluid built up again, causing her to once more be rushed to hospital. After the fluid was drained a second time, Carmel went to St Vincent's hospital to undergo surgery to stop the fluid build up around her lungs. The surgery was successful however, now our family are facing yet another hard blow. It has been confirmed that she has stage 4 Cancer. The doctors have given her a life expectancy of 12 months.
We need your help to see that our mother Carmel, gets as much help as she can with her treatments. She is going to do what she can in Australia as well as seeking treatment overseas in either Germany or Mexico, as they have other treaments that aren't currently available in Australia.
This money will help with our mothers medical needs , treatments, bills, food, possible accomadation and flights.
Anything you can afford to donate will make a difference to our family and our mother, and you'll be in our hearts forever and we are eternally grateful.
