SAVE OPERATION SANTA - MILITARY FAMILY SUPPORT

Tax deductible

WE BELIEVE IN SANTA CLAUS!  HELP US SAVE OPERATION SANTA!

**PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE 911th AIRLIFT WING OR ANY OTHER MILITARY INSTALLATION FOR INFORMATION - THIS IS AN EVENT THAT SUPPORTS MILITARY FAMILIES BUT IS RUN BY 501c3 HEROES SUPPORTING HEROES AND 3 RIVERS WEALTH MANAGEMENT GROUP.   All DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE AND MADE TO HEROES SUPPORTING HEROES - whose address is 7313 Noblestown RD | Oakdale, PA | 15071.  **

***We are in desperate need of funding or we will be unable to host our military family support for the first time in 7 years.  Due to the dramatic increase in military family participation and the drastic reduction in corporate support in the last two years, we have been unable to raise the funding to host our event.  We are begging our local Pittsburgh area community for help.  ANY donation helps us give the children and spouses that serve our country a day to show our appreciation for THEIR service.   Please help in you can!***

Each year over 300 volunteers from the TRWMG Bridges Kids Club,  in conjunction with local Pittsburgh 501c3 Heroes Supporting Heroes and with the support of the local business community, host more then 2,500 local military family members at the Joint Forces Operation Santa Military Family Carnival & Christmas Morning Support.    Below are excepts from some of the dozens of letters of thanks from our local military families, expressing exactly what this event means to a military family.

In addition to showing thanks to our local military families, the event serves to teach the next generation the joy of giving & appreciation of service to our country by pairing a civilian child with a military child.  The civilian child earns the funds to purchase one gift from the military child’s Santa list, wraps the gift and is able to meet the military child and give the gift in person at the event, to experience the joy their kindnesses brings to another person.  It is truly magical for both the civilian and military families who participate.

Military families receive all of their food & drinks, activities, crafts, games, prizes, character visits, face painting, photo booth, bouncers, and more including a visit & photo with Santa with gifts that are purchased and selected specifically for them from their wish lists.   In addition to the carnival event - which is meant for all of those who serve our country as an expression of gratitude, we also provide Santa gifts that are saved for Christmas morning and food for those military families in financial need.  Last year we provided this service for more then 75 local military & veteran families in the Pittsburgh area.

This will be our 7th year hosting Operation Santa for our local military and each year our military family attendance has doubled.   Last year we hosted more than 2,500 family members throughout the day and expect to break the 3,500 mark this year.  Our goal is to turn no actively serving military or veteran family away, but we cannot accomplish our goal without support from our local community.

Our efforts are not possible without the generous support of our local community.  We are also seeking corporate sponsors for this year’s events - sponsors who are willing to stand in support of our military families.  Please help us keep the spirit of Santa Claus alive for ur local military and veteran families this Holiday season because.....WE BELIEVE IN SANTA CLAUS!

"My husband is in the Army and has been serving for 14 years now, and this year he is currently overseas on a 10 month deployment to Afghanistan. It is hard enough to hold down the household while he is away, but this year I found myself absolutely dreading the holiday season. Especially with a 3 year old who is really missing daddy and a newly turned 1 year old. Each Christmas card addressed to our family broke my heart a little more and I was really having a difficult time finding my Christmas cheer without him around, and then we attended your event.  ……..    I wanted to say thank you for making my Christmas amazing again and providing such a wonderful day for me and my children in such a rough and challenging time for us. You and your volunteers have helped me remember to focus on and be so thankful for the love and support that we have all around us! …..”  ~ Event Attendee

“My family and I want to thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts. This was our 1st year attending and we were blown way by your generosity! My kids had a blast. There has been a damper on the holidays this year knowing that their daddy is leaving right after Christmas. But for one day they didn’t worry about the deployment. It was amazing for someone to recognize the sacrifice even the children of service members make.”  ~ Event Attendee

"M'am I just wanted to say thank you again last weekend for everything you guys did, I was the guy with the 3 little girls that thanked you before we left. I am a tough guy but I admit I had tears. That whole thing was absolutely amazing. If it wasn't for things like that I just don't know what I would do. I take care of and raise my 3 girls by myself and it isn't easy, especially since half my income goes to daycare. I'm just so glad we had the opportunity of going, it meant a lot.  Thank you and Merry Christmas!" ~ Event Attendee

"We were struggling this year but I can confidently say that my kids are having one of the best Christmas seasons yet! The spirit of giving was so beautiful within those walls. My family would like to send our sincerest thank you'sto everyone involved & wish each of you a very Merry Christmas. You were a God send to us this year. Thank you from the bottom of my heart." ~Event Attendee

”I have been fortunate to have attended or be involved in some capacity with a variety of different military sponsored / benefit events. What stood out to me beyond the amazing gifts for my children (that we are so thankful for) was the volunteers that participated in the event. The enthusiasm and genuine excitement to be there demonstrated by these amazing individuals really set this event far apart anything that I had been previously involved in.” ~Event Attendee

"Today's event was nothing short of amazing! Our 2.5 year old daughter had an amazing time and just about lost her mind when she unwrapped a 4-foot tall Elsa (from Frozen) doll. I am in the process of rebuilding my Air Force career (transitioned from more than midway up the enlisted ranks to the bottom of the officer ranks) and at the same time my wife is changing careers - needless to say Christmas this year is a bit more frugal than in years past - however, your even completely turned that around! To see the excitement on my daughter’s face during the entire time we were at the event and certainly when she opened her gifts brought tears of joy to my eyes. I simply can't thank you enough for all that you did for us - you truly made our Christmas bright." ~Event Attendee

**Note:  If we are unable to secure all of the funding to host our traditional Operation Santa Carnival, or are limited due to Covid restrictions by state and local government, all funds raised will be used to provide support to local military and veteran families during the Holiday season and all year through Heroes Supporting Heroes.
