We’re putting together this page to help support Oana Ion's medical expenses until we hopefully find a better solution.
Oana's breast cancer metastasized to her brain and keeps coming back every 3-4 months. Although we thought her last surgery would be her last another tumor has creeped up, this time being extremely close to the main vein in her brain. Her last diagnosis made by several doctors was that if she doesn't have this surgery, she only has weeks to live.
She was scheduled for surgery tomorrow (12/17/2019) yet somehow was discharged on Friday (12/13/2019) from the hospital which caused her to become an outpatient and now the hospital won't perform the surgery because she is no longer an inpatient . She now needs to travel back to PA and get the process started all over again. However her insurance doesn't cover the blood thinners she's needs in order to survive until she can have this surgery & they cost $2000.00 a week.
