Save Nellie the Dog!

On May 1, Nellie the Dog underwent a surgery to remove a cracked tooth. What should have been a routine surgery has turned into a nightmare for our family.
Nellie has been diagnosed with a "stricture of her esophagus", an unlikely and very scary complication of the surgery. So far this month she has had the original surgery and 3 barium X-rays. She is on a course of steroids, antiacids, and carafate, but unfortunately her condition is worsening, She is unable to hold down even the most liquid of diets and is in danger of aspiration and pnumonia.
Nellie needs a consult with a specialist(s), endoscopy(s), and likely a series of (4-6) procedures to attempt to "balloon dialate" her escophagus. If these procedures are not sucessful, there is a posibility that she will need a permanent feeding tube implant.
So far, her medical bills have been about $3000 this month.. Danny and I have taken out loans, spent our savings, and maxed out available funding sources. We are anticipating ATLEAST $6000 in bills in this next couple months. We are out of money and options.
Nellie is only 7 years old. She has otherwise been in excellent health. Anyone who has met Nellie knows that she is a VERY special dog. It is impossible to meet this angel of a dog without feeling like she has touched your heart. She has even volunteered and raised money for the humane society!
Please, please, please help us save our best friend if you are able... Nellie deserves a chance to live and has many more years of spreading joy in her.
