Save Myrtle: Urgent Medical Funds Needed

Hello everyone. I’m coming to GoFundMe today as an act of desperation in an attempt to heal my poor baby, Myrtle (1 y). I woke up this morning to her shaking like a leaf and meowing the loudest, most horrible meow you’ve ever heard. I then immediately called off work and took her to the emergency vet where they told me that she had suffered an acute kidney injury after hours of tests and bloodwork. She is now being hospitalized for an unknown amount of time while they pump fluids into her. The bill estimate that they gave me showed that her care would cost between $1,500-$3,500. I tried to tell the doctor that this was unaffordable for me, but my only options are vet billing, applying for a pet care credit card, or euthanasia. Meaning that, no matter what I do, this is going to cost at least $300/month for the next year. I would greatly appreciate any amount of money that you’re willing to give to help me see my beautiful baby get back to her playful, loving self. Thank you!
