Hi my name is Cecilia and I’m in need of help. My cat Peep is very sick. Me and my boyfriend Caleb are not in a good spot financially and really don’t want to lose are baby peep. He is about to be 2 and has many more years to live. On Saturday me and my boyfriend came home to him vomiting constantly. He vomited about 20 times in 24 hours. We were panicking knowing we have no money to help him. He stopped eating and stopped drinking water. We finally took him to the emergency vet called Veg in Woodbury MN. They were amazing and helped us find more affordable clinics. They also gave peep fluid for his dehydration and anti nausea medication. Sent us home with two cans of cat food all for $50 instead of $500. We kept an eye on his and for a whole day he was eating and drinking water. He used the bathroom. But it started again and I woke up to him vomiting and not eating. He tends to eat fabric and strings. We are keeping an eye on him and stopping him from doing so. I believe that he had a blockage. The vet told us to get him tested and get x-rays to find out what the problem is would cost about $1,500. Which is a lot for us right now. I’m willing to sell anything I have to keep him alive. But I know selling my stuff wouldn’t get me to that total fast enough. As he is losing weight very fast and is very dehydrated. I don’t think he will make it much longer if I don’t get him help. If anyone knows me they know I love cats. My cats are my babies and I know I’m not the best cat mom and am failing him. Anything helps and I appreciate it very much. Please help me save my peep :( all money donated will be used towards his medical bills and him.
