<div>Yesterday, we noticed our 4-year-old cat, <strong>Muffin</strong>, breathing intensely while at rest, so we decided to take her to the emergency vet. They did X-rays and ultrasounds and found a mass and her lungs filled with fluid. The mass is near her heart and likely cancer. They said things aren’t looking good and her chances are slim; however, she’s still in good spirits, so I’m still rooting for her. I had them drain her lungs so she was stable enough to come home for the night while they send the fluid off for testing.
