Make it Happen for Monon

This is a GoFundMe page to raise money for our dear friend Upol’s son, Monon. Monon is 7 years old and currently is battling leukemia at the Ramathibodi Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. Monon was first diagnosed with cancer in 2016 at Tata Memorial Hospital in India. After years of treatment, Monon’s family is without resources to continue his treatment. Monon currently is being evaluated for a bone marrow transplant. He will need two more phases of chemotherapy, and if his MRD (minimal residual disease) is negative, then Monon will be ready for his bone marrow transplant. The entire treatment is estimated to be €200,000 (euro 225,000). The current treatment phase is estimated to cost €50,000 ($56,000) to determine if Monon can be scheduled for his bone marrow transplant. At the same time, the hospital is evaluating Monon’s sibling (and, if needed, his parents) to be a potential match. Please help save Monon’s life!
