We are a small mom and pop health store - Help this store survive! and even thrive! The store has been in the same place since 1995 and we recently took over as new owners 6-1-17 - the stores name is Hop In For Health in Thornton, Colorado 80233. It's a good location with great foot traffic.
We want to remain a viable part of the community, but we have no money to put product on the shelves. The previous owners have ongoing health issues so they needed to relieve themselves of the responsibilities of running the store. They focused on selling the store so they had put little effort into the store or the website for about two years. They had planned to box up the store if it could not be sold.
Many of our valued customers have voiced that they are excited that we stepped up to keep the place open. They have said they don't want to go to the big chain stores because they like the personal friendly atmosphere and that we have items other places don't carry. Customers even continue to purchase the same products after they move from the area or the state. Some have purchased natural organic products from this shop for 15 years.
The store has always offered natures finest healthy alternatives to pharmaceutical drugs laiden with side effects. Through education and a balanced aproach to preventitive health maintainance, we help people save money and take control of thier health. In turn requiring less visits to doctors offices, expensive emergency rooms or having surgery coupled with long hospital stays and recovery.
Currently, we can not grow under the present conditions - many products have only one item in a specific area and when it is sold we can not replace it. Customers request something we do not have on the shelf and we can not tell them when it will be here. This is not the way we want to run our store. Please Help this small store survive and even thrive! It can be a vigorous, self sustaining part of the commuity again. Help us get product on the shelves and let the community know we are still here and want to serve.
