Hello,

the image is of MIKA. I recently rescued her, she was wondering on the street in front of my house with a shoelace as a leash :(

She is a sweet beagle mix, loves to play with her furry friends Franek, Mama and Zenek.

What is shown in the photo is referred to as "cherry eye", third eyelid deformity that is common in beagles. If not operated on, she will eventually lose vision in that eye.

I found a veterinarian in Melrose Park - Melrose Park Animal Hospital - who will charge $1,095 for surgery and medication. I made an appointment for December 26th. I would appreciate any help you can give.
