<div>EDIT: The City has adopted a policy of not accepting appeals from Environmental Non-Profit groups unless there is a member within 500 feet something that is not explicitly stated in the code. We still have 4 more hearings in September funded from this fund. Going forward we will only file appeals as an abutting neighbor until the ruling against nonprofits can be effectively fought against. Next appeal: Allen Morris Park and fighting for justice against trees removed without a permit in Edgewater!

<div>Thank you for helping us try to fight against the big bad wolves.

<div>This Fund will be used to file appeals against tree permits granted in the City of Miami. Currently there are hundreds of tree removals planned and this fund will allow citizens to file appeals to attempt to save these trees. Recently we have had success with getting these permits appeal in court so there is a precedent for granting appeals and the City appears to be listening.

<div>For more information on all of the intended tree removals please visit the City of Miami Website.
