Krishna Kumar has contracted a rare form of fungal infection mucormycosis in his eyes, nose and nasal cavity and other parts. Images of the disease (graphic content). It affects 2 people in 1.7 million. It is a life threatening situation.. The mortality rate of this infection is as high as 80%. His right eye is removed and 2 brain surgeries done sofar to prevent infection from spreading. We are trying hard to contain this infection and save his life.
