Hi, my name is Lizzy, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. We have a wonderful chicken named Maggie, but sadly, she has swallowed a screw that has become lodged in her abdomen. This has made her very sick, and she urgently needs surgery to remove it.

We are fundraising to cover the cost of the surgery, as it’s our only option to help her recover. If we’re unable to raise the necessary funds, we will sadly have to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to Maggie.

I know that to some, she may just be a chicken, but to us, Maggie is a beloved member of the family.
