Hello everyone, This is Lucy (my kids named her ) she’s an Australian Terrier 7 months old. She showed up at my house a few days ago. She was limping and had blood in her left eye. She limped straight to my daughter and my baby asked if we can help her. I told her I’d do my best. She was very terrified of me and my neighbor who helped me feed her and make her a little bed for the night. I took her to the vet, he said she was abused hit in the eye and probably kicked, since she was afraid of women more than likely her abuser was female. She needs hip X-rays and pain medication along with bed rest and possible surgery but I’m hoping not. I can not afford her medical expenses at this time. A friend suggested go fund me and thought I thought I might not raise the money in time, but as I told my daughter I’d do my best. I’m going back to the vet today to purchase a few days of pain medication for her to help ease the pain until I can raise the money necessary to get her medical attention. The vet was extremely kind and gave me a list of care instructions and also an estimate on the total cost to fix her hip. Please help us rescue this puppy! Thank you in advance.
