Layla's Amputation

IF YOU WOULD LIKE  TO DONATE  TOWARDS THE BILL DIRECTLY TO DILLSBURG VETERINARY CENTER, YOU CAN CALL [phone redacted].  Kristin and her husband Chris are animal lovers.  They walk dogs and clean cages at a local shelter two nights a week.  They took in a foster dog until a good home could be found for him.  They came home one day and found blood everywhere.  The foster dog had attacked and nearly killed their own dog Layla.  Layla had to be sedated and undergo laser treatments, wraps and IV antibiotics to save her life and her leg.  The vet is still hopeful they can save her leg. This requires daily trips to the vet where Layla will be sedated, given more laser treatments and IV antibiotics. The vet bill is already at $2500 and growing.  The last resort is Layla losing her leg but this family wants to try everything they can to save Laylas leg so she may have the best quality of life possible.

Kristin and Chris are two of the kindest, giving people I know.  They would do anything to help a dog, cat or a friend if they had the means.  They never ask for anything in return.  Now they need our help and I am hoping we can show them the same kindness that they always show to everyone, animals and humans alike,  on a daily basis. 

I know they would be humbled and grateful for any help to ease the financial burden even a little.
