Save Kitten from Deadly FIP

Luna was a shy uncertain kitten rescued from the streets of Las Vegas, and in the first 3 weeks with us she transformed into a happy loving playful rambunctious kitty. Vet declared her completely healthy. But September 7 she was diagnosed with FIP.

FIP (Feline Infections Peritonitis) is caused by a common infection called coronavirus, which in healthy cats is normally contained in this GI tract and killed by their immune system, but sometimes it mutates and survives the immune attack, and then becomes FIP. It's 100% fatal. But it's expensive. It comes in 2 forms: a pill and a shot, that has to be given daily for no less than 12 weeks, and there must also be bloodwork taken along the way. I cannot afford this.

This GoFundMe is to raise money to save Luna. Medicine cost depends on her weight, so about $100/week for for the medication. There will be vet costs such as exams and bloodwork to check her A/G levels along the way and at the end to make sure she's in the clear, and sometimes it may be necessary to take her in and have a vet tech do the injection if she's fighting us too much, and they charge $10 for that. Luna is a treasure. Her life has barely begun. I would be eternally grateful for any aid you're willing to provide.
