Save Kharkiv. Save Ukraine. Humanitarian Response

Tax deductible
Dear Friend,

Once bustling streets of Kharkiv, a beautiful Ukrainian city, are now empty and quiet, lying in ruins. It’s been a month since russia has invaded Ukraine and started to bomb its cities, spreading death and destruction where spring was about to come in full blossom.

Instead of enjoying flowers, Kharkiv residents are forced to survive in hunger and lack of medical help. Several districts were cut off of basic amenities like electricity and heating due to targeted bombings.

Les Kurbas, a major innovator of theater avant-garde, lived and worked in Kharkiv, just as Nobel-prize winning scientists Lev Landau and Ilya Mechnikov. Kharkiv was the birthplace of, among others, a famous astronomer Otto Struve and film theorist and educator Jerzy Toeplitz, who was the president of the International Federation of Films Archives (FIAF). It’s home to the Antonov aircraft manufacturing plant. Its industrial giants account for 17% of the heavy power equipment construction market globally.

Now, a major hub of Ukrainian culture and science is being torn to debris. Medicines, food, gas and means for transportation are what people in Kharkiv need most. We must act immediately to provide vital and urgent support, and you can help us achieve that and save lives.

Who are we?

This fundraiser was started by the joined forces of Save Ukraine , Razom for Ukraine , and Ukrainian Leadership Academy (ULA), in partnership with INSART , Ukrainian Catholic University , and Kharkiv IT Cluster .

Save Ukraine is a humanitarian aid charity non-profit launched with the start of the russian aggression in February 2022. We work with international organizations like UNICEF and local nonprofits operating in the field and local hospitals in Kharkiv and Kyiv. Our team consists of seasoned Ukrainian entrepreneurs with businesses in Ukraine, Europe and USA.

Starting with the Revolution of Dignity in 2014, Razom for Ukraine coordinates groups of volunteers and fundraising efforts to build a prosperous Ukraine project by project.

Ukrainian Leadership Academy is on a mission to help youth learn how to be leaders in any field — business, government, or public activities.

Right now, we’re all united in our efforts to close the urgent needs of thousands of Ukrainians.

There’s one more thing you can do after you donate. It will take less than 15 minutes of your time. Call your representatives in government and ask them to provide Ukraine with the support it needs to stop the war. Urge them to increase military spending for military planes, anti-aircraft and anti-tank weapons for Ukraine. Support Ukraine to protect its airspace and help us defend ourselves.

Thank you for your time and help! Together we’ll move mountains and save the world.
