Save Karma and Crow

Donation protected
Full transparency, sh*t is getting a little bit scary. Despite every extra effort to keep everything sterilised and everyone safe, our numbers are dropping every day and we only have a handful of covid-19 cases in South Australia thus far. We cannot get our hands on the stimulus package til June and even then it simply isn’t enough to recover from the months of devastation were predicted to fall victim to. Karma and Crow isn’t just a cafe. We put the fire aid festival on and raised thousands for fire affected areas. We offer coffee lessons for baristas trying to break into the industry. We stock local goods to raise the profile of small local businesses. We pay our staff fairly. We have a no exclusion policy. We protect our workers from sexism and sexual harassment. We run a campaign to educate people and businesses on how to achieve equality in the workplace. We are the sister to @attaboy_hair @elliekammer and @smol_adornments We are the creation of a woman who came from very humble beginnings who battled her way to make something great for this community and has worked a million hours ever since to keep this place bustling and keep learning and changing. We’ve never seen a decline like this, and we must ask that if you love karma and want us to stick around, please give what you can in whatever way suits you. Buy a voucher to use later, drop a couple of dollars in the donation pot by the till, round up your bill to the nearest $5 when paying, grab that extra takeaway coffee when you’ve finished your food. It is tough to ask for help and we are sensible people with procedures in place, but the fact is we just can’t survive the next few months without your help. Don’t go to the supermarket and buy two months of food...Supermarkets will always be there and by doing this you take from people who are also in need. Inject your spare dollars into the small businesses you love. Thank you, lots of love

We ask that if you have had a nice experience at Karma and Crow, please leave a tip here so that we may provide many more happy experiences for the people of Adelaide. Money donated will be injected into the business and kept there for emergency use over the next few months.

We are already overwhelmed by the community response and we are seriously feeling the love. As well as saving Karma you are ensuring the future of Stupid Bloody Tuesday and Stupid Bloody Brewery, coming to the west side this year! We thank you a million times
