Save John and Denise's House

John and Denise have had one set back after another. They are a sweet couple, with 2 children, Caden 11 and Caylee 3. Denise suffers from chronic leg and back pain, due to a severe injury – she was hit by a car when she was in her mid-teens. John is challenged with a processing disorder, which is compounded by a host of other related medical issues. Unfortunately, John has been poorly diagnosed and treated over many years which exacerbated his illness.
Since last year they have been bombarded with one problem after another. As they tried to resolve each, their problems grew larger than either John or Denise could manage. Their house is now approaching foreclosure. Ongoing medical bills, foundation and mildew problems with their house, constant car repairs and breakdowns, heating & AC problems, and then early this year John lost his job.
They have had next to no state assistance, as the county, they live in has a high poverty level – their low yearly income is considered right over the threshold.
John and Denise are very behind on their mortgage, as well as their utilities. They are unable to continue the necessary medical care for their ailments and can barely put food on the table. To make matters worse, last month John was in a car wreck which totaled his car. The car was old but they did receive a small check for the value. Unfortnately the check was quickly confiscated by the bank to pay an accumulation of banking fees created by reoccurring overdrafts and penalties.
I wish I could win the lottery and provide all the help they need, but it is way beyond what I can do for them. Things are getting worse and worse on a daily basis. They are running out of time and options.
The money raised will be used to pay their past and present utility and medical bills, including their mortgage payments and hopefully the latter, will save their home from foreclosure. The money will also be used to buy a cheap used car and if they still have a house, it will also be used to correct the foundation and mildew issues in their home.
In lieu of money gift cards for food or a used car would be very appreciated.
